Questions about plans
What’s the difference between Free and Pro?
Only three things. The free version shows a reminder for 5 seconds each time NomiPad starts, keeps at most 3 tabs open per window (opening another shows an upgrade prompt; nothing is closed or lost), and shows “Free” in the status bar. Every feature, including huge files, Live Markdown, code highlighting and PDF/HTML/PNG export, works the same in every plan.
Do I need an account?
Not for the free version. For NomiPad Pro you create an account with your email and a password. You use it to buy, and to sign in inside the app so NomiPad knows your plan.
How do I use my license in the app?
In NomiPad, click “Free” in the status bar, or “I have a license” on the start-up reminder, and sign in with your account’s email and password. NomiPad stores a signed license on your computer and checks it there, so it works offline. Pro renews itself in the background while your subscription is active.
How many computers can I use it on?
All of your own. A Pro license is for one person: sign in on each computer you use. Please don’t share your account with other people; for a team, buy one license per person or write to us.
Can I get a refund?
Yes. Every Pro payment, including each yearly renewal, can be refunded in full within 14 days, no questions asked. Request it at paddle.net or email support@nomipad.com. Details are in the Refund Policy.
How do I cancel Pro?
Any time, from the link in your Paddle receipt email, at paddle.net, or by writing to us. Cancelling stops the next renewal; Pro keeps working until the end of the year you already paid for.
What happens when Pro ends?
NomiPad goes back to the Free plan and tells you why: the 5-second reminder and the 3-tab limit return. Nothing else changes. Your files are never locked, and every feature keeps working. Renew any time to remove the limits again.
Do I get updates?
Yes. Every NomiPad update, new major versions included, is part of Pro while your subscription is active. If Pro ends, you keep using the version you have, on the Free plan.
Which currency, and is tax included?
Prices are in US dollars. VAT, GST or sales tax may be added depending on your country; Paddle calculates it and shows the total at checkout before you pay. Paddle may show the price in your local currency.
Who handles the payment?
Paddle.com, our Merchant of Record and online reseller. Paddle processes the payment, handles tax, sends your receipt and invoice, and processes refunds. We never see your card details. See our Terms of Service.
